An in-depth, exclusive tour led by Monet scholars of the museums that house the largest collections of the prolific artist's lilies paintings including the Musée Marmottan Monet, the Orsay Museum, the world-famous panels at L'Orangerie and concluding with Monet's own house and gardens at Giverny, the site where his fascination for water lilies was born.

Benedict Leca, Ph.D. is the Executive Director of the Redwood Library and Athenæum, Newport, Rhode Island. Before joining the Redwood in 2015 he was Chief Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Ontario. From 2007-2012 he served as Curator of European Painting, Sculpture and Drawings at the Cincinnati Art Museum. He was the first Andrew Mellon Post- Doctoral Fellow in the French Paintings department at the National Gallery of Art in Washington and served on the staff of the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University. He received his Ph.D. in the History of Art at Brown University with a specialization in eighteenth-century French painting and printmaking and his M.A. in the History of Art specializing in ancient art at the University of Texas, where he was awarded his B.A. in English Literature.
